Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions constitute a fundamental component of the contractual agreement between Sarah Artistry Ltd and its Students. It is imperative that Students meticulously read, comprehend, and acknowledge the significance of these Terms and Conditions. Non-compliance will be deemed a material breach of contract. Any modifications to these Terms and Conditions require the explicit written consent of the CEO of Sarah Artistry Ltd, Sarah Kaisar.

1. Course Enrollment and Fees

1.1 Course Review and Enrollment: Prior to enrolling in a VTCT, ITEC, or QUALIFI Course, Students are required to conduct a comprehensive review of the Course content with the lead educator at Sarah Artistry. An interview (conducted either online or by telephone) may be held to thoroughly explain the Course details. To reserve a place in a Course, a deposit must be paid, which is non-refundable and non-transferable. Upon confirmation of enrollment, the balance of the total Course fee becomes immediately due.

1.2 Non-attendance and Withdrawal: In the event that a Student fails to attend, withdraws, or is removed from a Course, no refunds for the deposit or Course fees will be issued. The Student remains liable for any outstanding balance. Personal issues, illness, changes in circumstances, visa or loan issues, among others, do not constitute valid grounds for refunds.

1.3 Course Fee Inclusions: The Course fee encompasses the School’s overhead costs, equipment, materials, and payments to awarding bodies. Consequently, fees are non-refundable once enrollment is confirmed. Fees can be paid in full at the time of enrollment, or with a deposit, with the balance due seven days before the Course commencement date.

1.4 Instalment Plans: Course fees may be paid in instalments if agreed upon in writing before the Course begins. Direct debit setup is mandatory at least ten working days prior to the Course start date.

1.5 Late or Non-payment: Students adhering to instalment plans must follow the payment schedule strictly. Late or missed payments may result in removal from the Course, forfeiture of sums paid, and liability for remaining fees.

1.6 Assessment Restrictions: Non-compliance with an instalment plan may lead to exclusion from assessments, examinations, and the withholding of results and materials.

1.7 Required Materials: Students must purchase and bring necessary kits and towel bundles on training days. Failure to comply may result in being unable to attend lessons or assessments.

1.8 Practical Assessments: Students are expected to practise on each other unless specified otherwise. For some Courses, a patch test is mandatory 48 hours prior to the Course date.

1.9 Medical Conditions: Any medical conditions affecting the ability to participate must be disclosed in writing before enrollment. Late disclosure may result in liability for disruptions or losses.

1.10 Presentation and Conduct: Students must be well-presented, in uniform, and adhere to hygiene standards. Professional and respectful behaviour towards others is mandatory. Disruptive or abusive conduct may result in removal from the Course and forfeiture of fees.

1.11 Course Content Changes: The School reserves the right to modify Course content, curriculum, and syllabus without prior notice to ensure compliance and relevance.

1.12 Parental Responsibility: Parents or guardians of Students under 18 are responsible for fees, behaviour, and discipline.

1.13 Complaints: Issues or complaints must be reported in writing within 48 hours. The School will investigate and attempt resolution, but refunds or Course transfers will not be offered.

2. General School Regulations

2.1 Uniform Policy: Adherence to the School’s uniform policy is mandatory. The uniform includes a School tunic,  black trousers, no jewellery,hair tied back and closed black shoes.

2.2 Personal Presentation: Hair should be neatly tied back, nails kept short and clean, and minimal jewellery worn.

2.3 Lockers: Students must keep lockers tidy and use personal padlocks. The School is not responsible for lost or damaged items.

2.4 Valuables: Bringing valuables to the School is discouraged as the School cannot be held responsible for their safekeeping.

2.5 Certificate Collection: VTCT certificates must be collected within twelve weeks of notification. Portfolio folders must be collected within specified times, or they will be destroyed.

2.6 Modelling for Classes: Students must notify the School if they cannot model. Failure to notify may result in termination of training and forfeiture of fees.

2.7 Attendance: Students must attend all demonstrations and extracurricular activities. Punctuality and attendance are critical and affect diploma/certificate awards.

2.8 Course Hours: Specific class times for ITEC,VTCT and Qualifi Courses are outlined, and attendance is mandatory.

2.9 Client Days: Participation in client days is essential for certain Courses.

2.10 Late Arrivals: Students must be punctual. Repeated lateness may result in disciplinary action.

2.11 Absences: Absences must be reported by 10:00 am, and a medical note is required for absences longer than three days.

2.12 Classroom Behavior: Students must behave professionally, and any misconduct will result in disciplinary action.

2.13 Academic Requirements: Students must meet attendance and academic standards to be eligible for assessments and examinations.

2.14 Exam Resits and Additional Fees: Fees may apply for exam resits and additional teaching hours.

2.15 Public Holidays: The School is closed on UK public holidays, and these are accounted for in the teaching plan.

2.16 Qualification Awards: Paying for a Course does not guarantee a qualification. Achievements are based on fulfilling criteria set by awarding bodies.

2.17 Liability: The School is not liable for loss or damage to property or for injury or death except in cases of negligence.
