Qualification outline – The VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Award in Dermaplaning is designed for practitioners in the beauty aesthetic field, particularly those aged 18 and above with a Level 3 beauty therapy qualification. This course equips learners with the skills to perform dermaplaning treatments effectively and safely. It covers essential knowledge on regulations, treatment protocols, client consultation, and aftercare advice. The qualification prepares individuals for employment or self-employment in the beauty aesthetic industry, specializing in dermaplaning techniques. It also serves as a foundation for further advanced qualifications at Level 4, such as skin peeling, skin needling, ultrasound, and scalp micropigmentation treatments.
