Overview – The VTCT (ITEC) Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Treatments is intended for qualified healthcare professionals registered with a national regulatory body, ensuring they meet professional standards with no practice conditions. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency up to Level 6 degree, along with relevant English language qualifications if needed. This qualification focuses on theoretical and practical aspects of administering safe, effective non-surgical aesthetic treatments, incorporating guidance from Health Education England, the General Medical Council, and other professional bodies. It covers health and safety, ethical and legal considerations, patient assessment, psychology’s role, anatomy, physiology, and specifics of botulinum toxin and dermal filler administration. Emphasis is also placed on communication, customer service, and topical skin care knowledge. Successful completion can lead to career advancement, CPD, and use of the post-nominal PGDipAes (VTCT).
